Full contact details (address, phone, email) are required to secure an appointment.
A consent form must be signed before treatment.
Skin tests may be required for certain treatments.
All information is confidential and protected under Data Protection legislation.
Client details are never shared without written consent.
Female clients only, aged 18+.
3. Appointments, Health, Medical Disclosure, Booking Fees & Payments
All appointments must be secured with a non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee of 50–100% of the treatment cost.
The booking fee secures a specific date and time only. It cannot be refunded, transferred to another person, transferred to a different treatment or moved to another appointment date.
If you wish to reschedule, a new booking fee will be required to secure a new appointment.
The remaining balance (if any) is payable on the day of your treatment.
A minimum of 72 working hours’ notice (Monday–Thursday, 10am–5pm) is required to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations or changes made with less than 72 working hours’ notice will result in the full treatment cost being charged.
If you have been unwell or experiencening symptions such as colds, flu, sickness, cold sores, or local skin infections or anything contagious, you must contact us immediately to reschedule your appointment.
If you arrive unwell or attend while showing symptions, your treatment will not be carried out and the full cost of your appointment time will still be payable.
If illness prevents attendance and less than 72 working hours’ notice is given, the full treatment cost will still be charged in line with the cancellation policy.
If pregnancy prevents your treatment from being carried out, the same 72 working hours' notice policy will apply. The booking fee remains non-refundable and non-transferable, and if less than 72 working hours' notice is given, the full treatment cost will be charged. Clients are kindly asked to disclose pregnancy at the earliest opportunity, as treatments cannot be carried out until after 12 weeks and you have the all clear from your midwife. Alternative pregnancy safe options can be recommended once you have your initial scan and medical conformation that massage or specific treatments are safe to proceed.
This policy is in place to protect the health and wellbeing of you, myself as your therapist, and all my clients, maintain the highest hygiene standards in the salon, and ensure carefully reservered appointment times are respected.
Essence of Beauty operates strictly by appointment only, no walk-ins are accepted.
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment, as late arrivala may shorten your appointment without reduction in fee.
Treatments are provided exclusively for female clients aged 18 and over. Guests and children can not accompany you to appointments.
4. Vouchers
All vouchers are valid for three months from the date of issue.
Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Expired vouchers cannot be used under any circumstances.
5. Course Bookings & Pre-Paid Treatments
All course bookings are valid for six months from the date of purchase.
Specific pre-paid treatments are valid for three weeks from the date of purchase.
All pre-paid treatments are non-refundable and non-transerable to another appointment slot once booked
6. Feedback
Feedback is always welcome, as it helps us maintain the highest quality of service. You may provide feedback verbally, by email, or via our website.
7. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange a time to discuss and resolve the matter.
