2. Information 

 
All patients are required to provide contact details; including address, telephone and email in order to secure an appointment. 
 
All clients will sign a consent form before their booked treatment. 
 
All new clients will need a skin test - dependent on the treatment type (spray tans etc) 
 
All information will be treated as confidential and protected in accordance with Data Protection legislation 
 
Patient information will not be shared with third parties without written permissions and you will not receive unsolicited information from us. 
 
We are a female-only clinic. Male clients are not catered for. 

3. Appointments 

When booking your beauty treatment you will be required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferrable booking fee of 50-100% of the total treatment cost within 24 hours of requesting the appointment. If the booking fee isn't received in this time frame, the appointment slot you have requested may be offered to someone else, as we are unable to secure any appointment slots without a booking fee. 
 
Please provide as much notice as possible, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment so that we may make best use of our appointment diary. Appointments are very precious to us, due to the high demand of our services. 
 
All appointments are by pre-booking only, we do NOT run a walk-in service. Please call the salon first to arrange your beauty treatment appointment. 
 
On the day of your beauty treatment appointment, you will pay the remaining balance due for the total cost of your treatment. When rebooking your next appointment a non-refundable and non-transferrable booking fee of 50-100% is required to secure your next appointment. 
 
Please do NOT attend the clinic for an appointment if you are unwell. If you are unsure, please call and discuss. Many treatments are contraindicated if you are unwell; this includes colds, cold sores or local skin infections. 
 
Please arrive on time for the treatment you have booked, as lateness will reduce the treatment time available and in some cases we may not have the time to complete the treatment. Unfortunately we cannot refund if this happens and the total treatment cost will be payable immediately. 
 
We are a female-only clinic, male clients are NOT catered for. 
 
We DO NOT allow children or guests to accompany you to ANY appointments (unless you need assistance for being disabled or are a teenager accompanied by a parent, where parental consent is needed.) 

3a. Medical Contraindications and Client Responsibilities 

It is essential to inform Essence of Beauty immediately of any medical changes, illnesses or pregnancies, as these conditions can act as contraindications, in some cases it will prevent treatments from being carried out. Failure to disclose such information may affect the treatment and, in some instances, halt the treatment entirely. Essence of Beauty is not liable for any issues arising from undisclosed medical conditions. Prompt communication of any changes is required to ensure the safety and suitability of the treatment. 

4. Booking Fee 

All Clients are required to pay a non-refundable booking fee between 50-100% of the total treatment cost to secure their beauty treatment appointment. This must be paid within 24 hours of booking your appointment, or the appointment date and time will not be secure and may be offered to another client. 
 
On the day of your beauty treatment, you will pay the remaining balance due less your deposit (the booking fee will be deducted from your total treatment cost at the time of payment.) 
 
Any booking fee that is retained without an associated appointment is valid for six months from the date of payment. After this six-month period, the booking fee will no longer be valid.  
Booking Fee charges 
 
*All advance booking fees and advance course booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. 
 
*If you do NOT attend a booked appointment, and fail to advise us in advance, the total treatment cost will be charged. 
 
*If less than 3-working days notice is given the total treatment cost will be charged. 

5. Payments

6. Vouchers 

All vouchers retain their validity for a period of one year from the date they are purchased. Upon the conclusion of this one-year period, the vouchers will no longer be valid. 

7. Course Bookings & Pre-Paid Treatments 

All course bookings maintain their validity for a duration of six months from the purchase date, after which they will cease to be valid. 
 
For specific pre-paid treatments, these are valid for a period of three months from the date of purchase, after which their validity will come to an end. 
 
All specific pre-paid treatments are non-refundable. 

8. Cancellations and Re-bookings 

Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require 3-working days notice of the cancellation before your allocated appointment, otherwise the full treatment price is still payable. 
 
If less than 3-working days notice is given the total treatment cost will be charged. 

9. Refunds 

All booking fees and course fees are non-refundable & non-transferable, for more information please contact us. 

10. Teenagers (under 16) 

Parental consent is required before we provide any treatments to teenagers under the age of 16.  
 
We allow parents to accompany teenagers under the age of 16, where parental consent is needed. 

11. Feedback 

Any feedback is much appreciated, both positive and negative. Feedback is used to review and improve quality of our service. You may submit feedback verbally, via email or via the clinic website. 

12. Complaints 

If you have a complaint please inform us as soon as possible. An appointment will be made for you to be seen.
